WHO WE ARE...
Our Foundation was created by a group of Fox Valley Wisconsin business and professional people. Our group saw the opportunity first-hand: the need is there, and we decided to do something about helping kids - without fanfare. The Valley Kid's Foundation is founded on providing direct and difference-making help to children in our area: the Fox River Valley area of Wisconsin.
What we do...and how we do it...
With zero operating expenses, the Valley Kid's Foundation Board of Directors uses all of the proceeds from its various fund-raising activities during the year to help children. All of the time and expertise is donated to this effort, maximizing the help the Foundation can give to these kids in need. All of the accumulated donations are used to assist children typically under eighteen (18) years of age. The funds are intended to provide help in areas of need such as: medical help, education assistance, as well as cultural and recreational opportunities these kids may not otherwise enjoy or have access to.
With few historical exceptions, funds go directly to the children and their families. The Board prefers not to distribute funds to other organizations but there have been exceptions such as the local Boys and Girls Clubs and the local children's Christmas fund of the Salvation Army.
Decisions as to how and when donations will be made is determined by the Board of Directors. The beneficiaries may include individuals, groups, specific organizations and/or various community projects, as agreed upon by the majority vote of the Board of Directors. The Valley Kid's Foundation at all times complies with State and Federal Income Tax Regulations as well as all other applicable laws. Additionally, the Board of Directors operates the Foundation in the most cost efficient manner, while at the same time using their best talents to make decisions relative to the management of funds. We can help make kids' dreams a reality.
